38-year-old Waltham Man Dies in Car Crash on I-190 in West Boylston

WEST BOYLSTON – A 38-year-old Waltham man died on Friday evening after striking a tree on a median on Rt. 190.

According to the Massachusetts State Police [MSP], the operator of the vehicle was traveling on Rt. 190-North towards Exit 4 in West Boylston. The operator was driving a 2011 Nissan Altima when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree in the median.

The operator was determined to be deceased at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The MSP continue to investigate the crash with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services Section, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.

State Police were assisted on scene by West Boylston Fire and EMS and MassDOT.
