WORCESTER – A Worcester Police officer near Paku Lounge on Chandler St. heard shots fired around 1:30 AM on Saturday, May 8.
Supporting officers arrived at the scene and located a 44-year-old man with wounded from gunfire.
Officers provided medical assistance until EMS transported the man to the hospital. Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the hospital.
The Worcester Police Detective Bureau is investigating the shooting.
