WORCESTER – The City of Worcester has announced its fall leaf collection program will begin Monday, November 2.

Leaf pick-up will begin in areas of the city that typically have their trash picked up on Wednesdays. The city will then pick up leaves on a Monday, Friday, Thursday and Tuesday trash pick-up schedule and hopes to have the program completed by the end of November.

SEE MAP BELOW: Leaf Collection Schedule and Status

Last year, leaf collection was delayed in some parts of the city due to early snowfall. The city completed the program in mid-December.

Here are the scheduled dates for the leaf collection program on trash pick-up days:

  • Wednesday: Nov. 2 to Nov. 9
  • Monday: Nov. 9 to Nov. 28
  • Friday: Nov. 9 to Nov. 14
  • Thursday: Nov. 16 to Nov. 21
  • Tuesday: Nov. 23 to Nov. 28

The DPW will provide up-to-date information on the City’s website and will use ALERTWorcester to notify residents that leaf collection will be taking place in your neighborhood soon.
