The Massachusetts Port Authority [Massport] announced the return of Delta Air Lines Service at Worcester Regional Airport on Wednesday, August 18. Delta will operate a new daily, nonstop flight between Worcester Regional Airport (ORH) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in Queens, New York, starting in November.

Worcester Regional Airport is also offering free parking for travelers using ORH through the end of the year.

Delta flies to over 50 domestic destinations from LaGuardia. It is also building a new terminal at the airport with 37 gates across four concourses.

Delta previously serviced Detroit International Airport (DTW), but suspended flights in October 2020. Service by JetBlue and American Airlines was suspended at the same time.

JetBlue resumes flights from Worcester to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), also in Queens, New York, starting August 20. JetBlue service to Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FFL) resumes October 21.

American Airlines suspended its flights from Worcester to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) in September 2020. Massport has not announced a time frame for American Airlines to resume service in Worcester.

The Worcester Regional Airport is in its 75th year in 2021. It began commercial flights in 1946. Massport has invested over $100 million in the facility since taking ownership of it in 2010.
