At a press briefing Monday evening, Worcester’s City Manager Ed Augustus reported three more Worcester residents have tested positive for COVID-19. There are now 16 positive cases in the city of Worcester.
A Worcester Fire Department recruit is among the new positive cases. All 27 members of the recruit class and eight instructors are now in isolation.
One active firefighter from the Worcester Fire Department has also tested positive. Seven others from the fire department are in quarantine awaiting testing tomorrow.
