WORCESTER – The City of Worcester is looking to make upgrades to parking management and the user experience for metered parking in the city.

On Tuesday, March 23, the installation of multi-space parking meters will begin in the Canal District. The project will replace single-space meters throughout the city.

The multi-space meters are kiosk-style and expected to provide a more user-friendly experience for drivers. Similar devices are prominent in Boston and other cities.
